About invoices

The Invoices tab displays all invoices that have been created for an event.  Each invoice is listed under one of the four panels : Client invoices, Supplier invoices, Commission receivable invoices, and commission payable invoices. Each of the panels is explained below.

Client Invoices

These invoices are sent to clients to bill for goods or services rendered.  When creating this invoice, there are several options for the type of invoice to be generated such as a fixed amount, a percentage of the event price (pulled from the Costs tab), or the uninvoiced amount.

Supplier Invoices

Supplier invoices allows you to upload any invoices that you have received from suppliers.  You can either create a new invoice from scratch using the template, alternatively you are able to upload any invoice documents that you receive.

This overview allows you to track the status of invoices, their respective due dates, set reminders for followup actions, as well as keep a running total of costs.

Commission receivable invoices

Commission receivable invoices allow you to create an invoice for the commission that is generated from the various costs that have been added to the event.  When creating an invoice you can select which cost to invoice for.  When selected, EventWorks automatically calculates the commission that is due from the information you entered when you created the cost initially.

Various templates can be created and used when completing the invoice setup.

Damage Deposits

Here you can select a template to create an invoice for any damage deposits.  As with the previous invoices, you can easily track the status of these invoices and have an overview of any amounts outstanding.
