Create a quote

Navigate to the event that you would like to create a quote for by selecting Events from the navigation menu on the left and searching for it.  Once the event is selected you are redirected to the event dashboard.

Along the top you can see various tabs (Dashboard, Quotes, Contacts etc).  Select the Quotes tab.

From this landing page you can see all quotes that have been associated with this event within the Quotes panel.  The Event info panel (on the right) lists various pieces of the event information as well as a live breakdown of the financials.  These financial figures update once a quote has been added.

There are two ways to add a quote to an event - either by using the Import quote button or the Create quote button.  Both of these options are located at the top of the Quotes panel.

Import quote

Selecting this option allows you to import the details of a quote that has been attached to a different event.  This will directly import all relevant costs from the selected quote.

Create quote

When Create quote is selected it will automatically assign an individual quote number and bring you to a landing page where you can start adding costs to the quote.

Select Add (at the top right of the page) > Add Cost.
The Add Cost template will then appear.  Please click here for a detailed overview of adding a cost.
Once you have entered in the relevant information press Save.
When you have added a cost, select <Back to quote.

You can see the cost item has been automatically added to the quote.  Looking along the top of the quote you now have several new options.  These are explained below:

Status : This indicates the status of the quote. This is either Draft, Sent, Accepted, or Declined.
Mark as sent : This button will change the above status to Sent.  Once the draft is marked as sent, this button will change to Accept or Decline.
Duplicate : This button duplicates the quote and assigns the duplicate an individual quote number.
Export Costs : This allows you to export all the costs as an Excel spreadsheet.
Export Quote : This allows you to export the quote as either an Excel spreadsheet or as a PDF.
Update estimated profit : This button prompts the figures in the Quote information panel to be updated with the information that has been added to the quote since it was last updated.  There is a field in the Quote information panel which displays when the estimated figures were last updated.

Once a quote has been marked as accepted and the status set to Contracted, you will then have access to the **Costs tab**.
