How to create a Resource type
The Resource type field allows you to categorise different Resources which in the resources being displayed more clearly. This information is displayed in the Resources tab to give you an overview of the different types of resources required for an event.
Select the settings cog at the top right of the page.
Select General settings from the dropdown list.
Click on the Events tab along the top and then select Resource types from the sub-menu.
Here you can see the existing resource types. Each one has an Edit and a Delete button which you can use to customise or remove each type.
Select Add type at the top right of this panel.
Enter a name for the resource type.
Using the Type field you can nominate an existing resource type to be a parent to this new type. Selecting this field will display a dropdown list which is populated with all existing resource types. Simply select the type you'd like to become the parent of this new resource type.
The Move before and Move after fields allow you select exactly where this new resource type will appear on the list of existing resource types.
Select Add type to create the new resource type. You will see it on the list. If you have selected the new type to be a child resource type it will appear indented beneath the selected parent resource type.
This newly created resource type will be displayed under the Resource type field when creating or editing any resources.
