How to update the Xero certificate
If you are receiving an error message when attempting to send an invoice to Xero, it may be due to an expired certificate within the integration. An updated certificate is required from 01/03/2020. Please see instructions below on how to update the certificate.
These steps must be performed by the user that initially set up the Xero integration.
Select https://developer.xero.com/
From the landing page select My Apps on the top toolbar and sign in with your Xero credentials.
Select EvenWorks from the list of applications.
If you scroll down to the heading Public Key Certificate you can see the blue text that says "**Update public key**".
In this new dialogue box you can drag and drop a new certificate. Click here and press Download to download the new certificate.
Drag and drop the downloaded file labelled "**eventworks_xero_publickey.cer"** into the dialogue box and select Update.
Key Updated should appear at the bottom left of the page.
