Lost reasons
The Lost reasons field allows you to accurately record reasons for which a Lead doesn't progress to being contracted. Recording the Lost reason can be very useful to see areas that could be improved to prevent further leads from not progressing to contracts.
Select the settings cog at the top right of the page.
Select General Settings from the dropdown.
Click on the Events tab along the top and then select Lost reasons from the Sub-menu.
Here you can see the default Lost reasons. You can delete any of the reasons by selecting the red Delete button at the end of each row.
Select Add reason to create a new Lost reason.
Simply type the reason into the Name field and select Add reason.
The Lost reasons can be used against any event. The steps below outline where to assign a Lost reason :
Select the event you would like to record as lost.
From the event dashboard select Edit in the Event info panel on the right.
Select the Additional information tab along the top.
Select the Lost Reason field and select the appropriate reason from the dropdown list.
Select Save.
