MailChimp Integration

Our MailChimp integration allows you to:

• Subscribe and unsubscribe your EventWorks Contacts to a MailChimp list
• View subscriber activity when viewing a Contact in EventWorks
• Create Segments based on EventWorks data

Subscribe and unsubscribe your EventWorks Contacts to a MailChimp list

1. Edit a Contact
2. At the bottom of the Contact form, switch the Subscribed switch to either Yes or No.
3. The Contact will be subscribed or unsubscribed accordingly

View subscriber activity when viewing a Contact in EventWorks

On the Contact's page, if they are subscribed to one of your MailChimp lists, you'll see a summary of their recent MailChimp activity beneath the Contact information panel:

Create Segments based on EventWorks data

On the Accounts page, you'll notice at the bottom of the table there is an additional button Create MailChimp segment.

Clicking on this will add all of the Contacts that match your current search query to

a new Segment on MailChimp, allowing you to then send out a Campaign.

You can use the Account filters at the top of the page to filter by Type or Account manager, or click the More button on the toolbar to reveal additional filters:

Once you're happy with your results, click the Create MailChimp segment at the bottom of the page.
