Step 3: Set up your Documents
Add the signature variables to your documents
- The signature variables can be found here. These should be included in your document where you would like the recipient's signature to appear.
Test the Integration
- To ensure everything is working correctly, try sending a document for signature through EventWorks.
- From the Documents tab in an event, create a new document by selecting a template or uploading a new document that includes your signature variables.
- Click "Request Signatures"
- Enter the names and email addresses of each recipient and click "Request Signatures".
- Signable will then process the document and request signatures from each recipient. The status of the document in EventWorks will indicate whether or not the document has been signed by all recipients.
Troubleshooting Tips
- Invalid API Key: If you receive an error stating that your API key is invalid, double-check that you have copied the entire key correctly without any extra spaces or characters.
- Connection Issues: If the integration fails to connect, ensure that your internet connection is stable and try again. Additionally, verify that your Signable account is active and that you have the necessary permissions to generate and use API keys.
