Uploading Documents

EventWorks allows you to upload documents that might be useful to you on a regular basis. For example, if you have contracts that need to be signed and attached to an event, or Terms and Conditions for an event.

To attach a document to an event you will first have to upload the document to EventWorks. Select Documents on the navigation bar on the left. This will display all documents currently attached to your EventWorks. Then select Create document at the top right.

From this template you will be required to give this new document a title. Once named, you then have two options. Either to upload an existing document from your own computer or to use the text editor to create one. Within the text editor you have common features such as attaching photos, videos, tables etc. You can do this via the editor functions bar within the text editor.

Once you have attached or created your document, simply press Save. Once saved, you can then attach the document to any event - both new and existing. You do this by navigating to an event and selecting the Documents tab from that event's dashboard. Depending on your configuration of EventWorks, you may need to select More when viewing an event to find the Documents tab.

When you are on the Documents tab select Create document. Here you will be prompted to title the document and then either upload a new document or select one that is already stored on EventWorks. If you select the template dropdown you will see the document you've uploaded in the previous steps. When a document is attached to an event, you then have the option to Request Signature. This will bring up a new window where you can input a name and email address to send the document to, include any extra persons to be notified when the document has been signed, as well as an option for a brief message to the recipients. The recipient will receive this document via email where they can digitally sign.

Please see the video below which will guide you through each step.
