Staff and Team Reports

Staff and team reports help you measure individual and team performance. Track salesperson productivity, analyse conversion rates, review event totals by team member or source, monitor status changes, and audit the history of changes made to events.

Getting There

    • Click Reports in the sidebar.
    • Click Create and select one of the staff or team report types, or open an existing one from the list.

Report Types

Productivity by Salesperson

  • Lost price — Value of events that were lost
  • Quoted events — Number of events at the quoted stage
  • Contracted events — Number that reached contracted status
  • Total events — Total event count
  • Lost events — Number of events lost
Configuration options:

Conversion Rate Report

Analyses how effectively enquiries are being converted into contracted business. Can be grouped by salesperson or by event source, so you can measure conversion from both a people and marketing perspective.

Configuration options:
  • Relation type — Group by User (salesperson) or Source (marketing channel)
  • Salespeople / Sources — Select specific entries, or include all
  • Event date — Date range for events
  • Value column — Which financial value to display
What the report shows:
Column Description
Enquiries Total number of events received
Contracted How many became contracted
Conversion rate Contracted ÷ Enquiries, as a percentage
Contracted value Total financial value of contracted events
Tip: Run this report grouped by Source to see which marketing channels convert best — not just which ones bring in the most enquiries.

Event Totals by Relationship

Shows total event values grouped by salesperson or event source. Focuses on totals across your selected statuses, rather than conversion rates.

Configuration options:
  • Relation type — Group by User (salesperson) or Source (marketing channel)
  • Salespeople / Sources — Select specific entries
  • Event statuses — Which statuses to include
  • Date range — Filter by event date
  • Value column — Which financial value to display
  • Display contracted column — Show or hide a dedicated column for contracted events

Status Change Report

Tracks events that moved to specific statuses within a given period. Helps you see the flow of events through your pipeline — how many became "Quoted" this month, how many were "Contracted", how many were "Lost".

Configuration options:
  • Statuses — Which target statuses to report on (the report finds events that changed to these statuses)
  • Date range — Fixed dates or a dynamic period:
- This week - This month - This quarter - This year
  • Event date — Filter by event start date
  • Enquiry date — Filter by when the enquiry was received
  • Team — Filter by team
  • Salesperson — Filter by salesperson
  • Columns — Toggle additional data columns
Tip: Use the dynamic date range option (e.g. "this week") and schedule the report weekly. The date range adjusts automatically each time it runs.

Revision History Report

Shows a detailed change log for a specific event field over time. Tracks who changed what, when, and what the old and new values were.

Configuration options:
  • Column to track — Which event field to monitor (default: reported profit)
  • Date range — Period to report on
  • Event status — Filter by current status
  • Teams — Filter by team
  • Search — Find changes related to specific events by name

Each row shows the event, the old value, the new value, who made the change, and when.

Notes Report

Lists all notes created within a time period, optionally filtered by note type. Useful for reviewing activity and ensuring important notes are being captured.

Configuration options:
  • Date range — Period to report on
  • Note type — Filter by type of note

Tips & Best Practices

Tip: Schedule the Productivity by Salesperson report monthly for regular performance reviews. Enable the Team totals row to see aggregate figures alongside individual numbers.
Tip: Compare the Conversion Rate report grouped by User and by Source. This tells you whether conversion issues are people-related or channel-related.
Tip: The Revision History report is invaluable for auditing. If a reported profit figure looks wrong, you can trace exactly when it changed and who changed it.
Tip: Use the Status Change report to track pipeline movement. A weekly summary of how many events moved to each status is a useful health check.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I see all salespeople on one report?

Yes. Leave the Salespeople filter empty on the Productivity by Salesperson report and it will include everyone. Or select all salespeople individually.

Q: What does "dynamic date range" mean on the Status Change report?

A dynamic date range adjusts automatically based on when you view the report. If you choose "this month", it always covers the current calendar month. This is especially useful for scheduled reports, which will always cover the relevant period.

Q: How is conversion rate calculated?

Conversion rate = (Number of contracted events ÷ Total number of enquiries) × 100. The report counts distinct events, not values.

Q: Can I track changes to any event field with the Revision History report?

The report supports tracking several key fields. The available fields are listed in the configuration dropdown — the default is reported profit.

Q: What's the difference between Event Totals by Relationship and the Conversion report?

The Conversion report focuses specifically on enquiry-to-contracted conversion rates. Event Totals by Relationship shows total financial values across all your selected statuses — it's about portfolio size, not conversion effectiveness.

Q: Does the Notes Report include notes from all areas of EventWorks?

The report lists notes created within your selected date range and optionally filtered by note type. The scope depends on the note types available in your system.
