Staying Up to Date with EventWorks
EventWorks ships new features and improvements continuously. Here's where to follow along so you always know what's new and what's coming next.
The News Banner
When we ship a major feature, a small banner appears at the top of your dashboard with a short headline and a link to the full story.
Click the banner to read the full announcement on our blog. The current announcement keeps appearing on your dashboard until you dismiss it. Click the × on the right side of the banner to dismiss it — that story won't reappear for you, but future announcements will.
Note: The banner only appears when there's a currently featured post. If nothing is shown, there's no new announcement to read.
Where to Find What's New
Depending on how much detail you want, there are a few places to look:
Blog
Our blog covers new features in depth — what they do, why we built them, and how to get the most out of them. This is the best place to start if you want the story behind a change rather than just the headline.
Release Notes
The release notes summarise new functionality as it ships — including smaller improvements and changes that don't get their own blog post. If you want a concise overview of what's landed recently, this is the place.
Public Roadmap
The public roadmap shows what we're actively working on, what's planned next, and what's already been shipped. Use it to get a sense of what's coming, or to see whether a feature you've been waiting for is on the way.
In-App Messages
For significant announcements, we'll message you directly through the help widget in the bottom-right corner of the app. These appear as a small notification on the widget — click it to read the message.
This is usually reserved for things that affect how you work day-to-day, like major UI changes, new integrations, or scheduled maintenance.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: I dismissed the news banner. How do I get it back?Once you've dismissed a story, it won't reappear for you. If you want to read the one you just dismissed, head to the blog — the most recent featured post is always at the top. The next announcement we ship will appear in the banner as usual.
Q: Can I turn off the news banner permanently?There's no setting to disable it, but it'll only show each announcement until you dismiss it. Click × once on a story and you won't see it again.
Q: Where can I request a new feature?Check the public roadmap first to see if it's already planned. If not, let your account manager know — customer requests directly shape what we work on next.
