Viewing and Filtering Accounts
The accounts list is your central hub for viewing and managing all the organisations you work with — clients, suppliers, venues, and more. From here you can search, filter, sort, and export your accounts.
Getting There
Click Accounts in the main sidebar navigation. This opens the full accounts list.
Overview
The accounts list displays all your accounts in a sortable table with the following columns:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Account name | The organisation's name (click to open the account dashboard) |
| Primary contact | The main contact person for this account |
| Account manager | The team member responsible for this account |
| Type | The account type(s) assigned |
| Date added | When the account was created |
| Last updated | When the account was last modified |
| Tags | Any tags applied to the account |
All column headings are sortable — click a heading to sort by that column, and click again to reverse the order.
Type Tabs
At the top of the accounts list, you'll see tabs that let you quickly filter by account category:
- All — Shows every account regardless of type
- Clients — Shows only accounts marked as clients
- Suppliers — Shows only accounts marked as suppliers
The Suppliers tab also includes a Supplier type dropdown so you can narrow down by the specific kind of supplier.
Filtering Accounts
The filter panel sits above the accounts table and helps you find exactly what you're looking for.
Primary Filters
These filters are always visible:
- Type — Select one or more account types to narrow the list
- Account manager — Filter by the team member managing the account
- Search — Free-text search across account name, code, address, city, postcode, contact names, email, and related event details

Searching
The free-text Search field is powerful — it searches across multiple fields simultaneously:
- Account name, code, address, city, and postcode
- Contact first and last names, and email addresses
- Account country
- Supplier type name
- Related event names and codes
Simply type a few characters and the list will update to show matching accounts.
Location-Based Search
If you need to find accounts near a specific area, use the Location filter in the extended filters section:
- Enter a postcode in the postcode field
- Set a range in kilometres
- The list will show only accounts within that distance
Note: Location search relies on accounts having address data. Accounts without a valid address won't appear in location-based results.
Exporting Accounts
At the bottom of the accounts list, you'll find export options (if you have the appropriate permissions):
- Export Accounts — Downloads an Excel file containing account details including name, primary contact, account manager, type, address, phone, website, number of events, total reported profit, industry type, and any custom attributes
- Export Contacts — Downloads an Excel file of all contacts across the filtered accounts, including first name, last name, account name, job title, email, phone, mobile, and address
Note: Export buttons are only visible if you have the Export data, Export accounts, or Export contacts permission.
Tips & Best Practices
Tip: Use the type tabs at the top to quickly switch between viewing all accounts, just clients, or just suppliers — this is faster than setting a type filter.
Tip: Combine multiple filters to build precise lists. For example, filter by a specific account manager and a date range to see which accounts they've been working with recently.
Tip: The location-based search is useful when you need to find suppliers or venues near an event location.
