The Account Dashboard

The account dashboard is the central view for everything related to a specific account. It brings together the account's details, events, contacts, activity history, and more — all in one place.

Getting There

    • Click Accounts in the main sidebar navigation
    • Click on any account name in the list

You can also reach the account dashboard by clicking an account name anywhere it appears as a link throughout the application.

Account dashboard overview

Overview

The account dashboard is split into two main areas: the account information panel on the left, and the main content area on the right.

Tab Navigation

Across the top of the page, you'll see tabs that give you access to different aspects of the account:

Tab What it shows
Dashboard The main overview (described on this page)
Venue Events Events where this account is the venue (only visible if the venues module is enabled)
Invoices All invoices for this account (see Account Invoices)
Contacts All contacts belonging to this account (see Managing Contacts)
Tasks Tasks associated with this account
Notes Notes attached to this account
Media Files and documents uploaded to this account
Resources Resources linked to this account (see Account Resources)

Account Information Panel

The left-hand panel displays key account details at a glance.

Map

If the account has an address, an interactive map is displayed at the top of the panel showing the account's location.

Editing Account Details

Click the Edit button at the top-right of the account information panel to open the edit form. See Creating Accounts for details on all available fields.

Parent and Sub-Accounts

If the account is linked to a parent account, a Parent account card appears below the account information, showing the parent's name with a link to their dashboard.

If the account has sub-accounts, a Sub-accounts card lists all child accounts with links to each one.

See Account Types and Hierarchy for more on how parent/child relationships work.

Events

The events section on the right side of the dashboard shows all events associated with this account. Events appear here if:

  • The account is the client on the event
  • The account is a venue for the event
  • The account is a supplier on one of the event's costs
  • A contact from this account is linked to the event

The events table includes:

Column Description
Code The event's reference code
Name The event name (click to open the event)
Date The event date
Manager The assigned event manager
Salesperson The assigned salesperson
Venue Where the event is taking place
Price The total event price
Profit The event's profit
Status Current status shown as a coloured badge

Click Create event to start a new event that is automatically linked to this account.

Contacts

The contacts section lists all contacts belonging to this account. For each contact, you can see their profile image, name, job title, email, phone, mobile, social links, date added, and tags.

From here you can:

  • Click Add contact to create a new contact for this account
  • Click a contact's name to view their full details
  • Use the actions menu on each contact to Edit, Transfer to another account, or Delete

See Managing Contacts for full details on working with contacts.

Recent Activity

The activity feed shows a chronological log of actions taken on this account — who made changes and when. This gives you a clear audit trail of the account's history.

Notes

If notes have been added to the account, a preview appears here. Click through to the Notes tab for the full list, or click Create Note to add a new one.

Deleting an Account

To delete an account, scroll to the bottom of the account information panel and click Delete account. A confirmation dialog will appear with the option to transfer all linked records (events, invoices, contacts, costs, media, notes, and tasks) to a replacement account before deletion.

Warning: Deleting an account is permanent and cannot be undone. Always consider transferring linked records to another account first.

Viewing Revision History

Click the Revisions link in the page actions area to see a detailed history of all changes made to this account, including who made each change and when.
